'There's No Coexistence': Hundreds of Right-wing Activists Rally at Scene of Deadly Attack in Southern Israel

Some 200 right-wing activists rallied at the scene of the deadly attack in which four people were killed on Tuesday in southern Israel.
The protesters, some of whom went on to protest in front of a local police station, carried flags of Israel and signs reading "Israel is committing suicide" and "Israel is budgeting the murder of Jews."
Kahanist activist and Hebron settler Baruch Marzel called to enforce a martial law on the Negev, a southern region in Israel, in order to "clean" it. "If the Negev falls, the entire country will fall. We cannot stay silent," he said.
One of the protesters told Haaretz that "our blood was spilled and our dignity, too. The Arab enemy is spilling our blood, enough with the illusion of coexistence, there's no coexistence."
Likkud activist Yigal Malka protested the fact that the weapon of the man who shot the assailant earlier on Tuesday was confiscated from him. The audience chanted "disgrace" in response to Malka's words.
"This is not disgrace, it is permission to continue murdering Jews."
Another protester, Lydia Avigail Danilov, told Haaretz that she feels hurt and angry: "We are not life-hating people and we work with the Bedouin community on a daily basis. Something like (the stabbing attack) undermines the sense of partnership."
Large police forces are at the scene.
Four people were killed and two women were wounded on Tuesday in a stabbing and ramming attack in the southern city of Be'er Sheva. A bus driver who was near the scene has shot the assailant, Mohammed Abu al-Kiyan.
